About Us
Haven Health’s family of healthcare services are provided in the patient’s home as an alternative to an extended stay in a hospital or other facility. Patients receiving their medical care in the home may be recuperating from an illness, or facing an uncertain medical future, or needing end–of–life care. Under the direction of the patient’s physician, our team of qualified professionals and support staff incorporates the patient’s family into a comprehensive plan of care designed to meet goals for the patient’s greatest potential. Our goal is to offer empathy and compassion in providing the best in–home health care.

History
Haven Health was founded by Lynn Keitz, RN in 2001 offering hospice services only. Initially in Bellflower, California, Lynn built Haven Hospice™ on a foundation of quality. While accreditation with the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO as it was called then) was optional for hospice services, high quality was not optional for Lynn.
Haven expanded in 2002 to include Home Health as well as a physical move to Signal Hill, California. Haven received full accreditation with JCAHO for both hospice and home health services. Each also received the accolade of “deemed status” with JCAHO (now called The Joint Commission).
Between 2002 and 2007, Haven experienced significant growth expanding to serve all of Orange County and the bulk of Los Angeles County. In those areas, Haven became known for the quality of its services and the uniqueness of its expertise and service offerings. Specifically, Haven became known for its expertise with high acuity patients as well as expertise in pediatric home health and hospice services.
In 2009 and in 2011, Haven continued to expand adding new hospice locations in Los Angeles and in Irvine consecutively. Also in 2011, Haven launched a new service line for Palliative Care for those patients with a serious illness, but facing an uncertain medical future.
